Epiroc Boomer T1 D is engineered for excavation and support in narrow tunnels with cross-sections up to 23 m². Its configuration includes a direct control system (DCS) that ensures accurate operation while minimizing wear on components.
The machine features a single BUT 4B boom paired with a high-performance rock tool from the COP series. Depending on geology, it can be equipped with COP 1638, COP 1838ME, or COP 2238 to deliver efficient rock penetration and productivity.
Thanks to its small footprint and ±30° boom rotation, the Boomer T1 D is ideal for confined-space tunneling and underground construction in urban and mining settings. Mist flushing improves visibility and hole quality, while the FAM T1 angle measurement system supports precise positioning.
Powered by a Deutz D914 diesel engine and a 75 kW electric motor, this unit offers high mobility on its T-series chassis and operates autonomously in complex underground environments.
