The Epiroc (Atlas Copco) TH5 is the smallest model in the brand’s light water well series, purpose-built for rotary and DTH drilling in confined or remote environments. With a compact footprint and total rig weight under 2.5 tons, the TH5 is ideal for mounting on small trucks or trailers, making it highly maneuverable through urban zones or hard-to-reach terrains.

Powered by a deck-mounted Deutz F3L912 engine, this rig delivers full hydraulic functionality for rotary drilling and supports DTH hammers when paired with an external air compressor. It allows borehole diameters up to 200 mm for mud drilling and 104 mm for DTH drilling, reaching depths of 60–100 meters depending on the method used.

The TH5 comes with integrated options such as water and foam injection systems, a DHD lubricator, and optional mud pumps, making it adaptable to a variety of geological conditions. Its self-contained design enables fast setup and disassembly without relying on the host vehicle’s systems, ensuring independence and ease of operation.
