History of Shenyang

Established in China in 1937, the company originally focused on manufacturing defense-related products, including artillery components, detonators, and grenades. Over time, it transitioned toward developing and producing equipment for civilian and industrial use.

By 1955, Shenyang had become the first Chinese manufacturer to supply world-class pneumatic drilling rigs. One of its flagship models — the 7655 rock drill — received multiple national awards and earned international recognition at global exhibitions.

In 1985, Shenyang began integrating advanced technologies from the Swedish industrial group Atlas Copco. In 2003, the company officially joined the Atlas Copco Group, which went on to acquire full ownership in 2007.

Today, the company operates as Epiroc (Shenyang) Construction & Mining Equipment Ltd., producing a wide range of pneumatic and hydraulic tools, including rock drills, breakers, and drilling equipment for global markets. In addition to ISO 9001 certification, the facility earned ISO 14001 environmental certification in 2005, confirming its commitment to sustainable practices and high production standards.

Within China, the brand maintains a strong presence through 20 branches, five service centers, and an extensive dealer network. All employees receive continuous training in quality control and environmental compliance to ensure alignment with international standards.

TechCom supplies genuine Shenyang pneumatic rock drills and certified spare parts, offering expert equipment selection, fast logistics, and full-service support throughout the entire product lifecycle.
