Company History

Kaeser Kompressoren traces its origins back to 1919, when Carl Kaeser established the company in Coburg, Germany, with a primary focus on manufacturing engine parts. After World War II, in 1948, the company shifted to manufacturing piston compressors in response to the growing demand for compressed air equipment in Germany's recovering economy.

In the 1970s, Kaeser achieved a major technological breakthrough with the development of its patented rotary screw block featuring the SIGMA Profile, which significantly improved compressor energy efficiency. This innovation laid the foundation for the brand’s international success. During the 1980s, the company began expanding aggressively into global markets while also broadening its product range to include dryers, filters, and mobile solutions.
