The Normet Scamec 2000 S is a diesel-powered mechanised scaler designed for safe and efficient rock scaling in underground mines and tunnels with tramming heights of 2.4 m or more. The machine combines the robust NC200 articulated carrier, NSB1000 telescopic scaling boom, and Epiroc SB302 hydraulic impact hammer to ensure precise scaling and maximum operator safety. The FOPS/ROPS-approved cabin offers superior visibility, low noise levels below 75 dB, and ergonomic controls for comfortable operation even in demanding conditions.
Powered by a Deutz TCD 2012 L6 (155 kW) or Mercedes-Benz OM906LA (170 kW) TIER 3 engine, the Scamec 2000 S provides strong tractive performance and smooth maneuverability with a Dana 32 000 power shift transmission and 4-wheel drive.
