The Sandvik Ranger DX800 S5 is a high-performance, self-propelled surface drilling rig designed for production drilling, road construction, pipeline projects and foundation work. Mounted on a crawler carrier with a rotating superstructure and equipped with a certified FOPS and ROPS cabin, the machine delivers excellent mobility, operator comfort and reliable performance in demanding drilling conditions.

Powered by a 168 kW Caterpillar C7.1 Stage V diesel engine, the Ranger DX800 S5 features the HL820T hydraulic rock drill delivering 21–23 kW percussion power. Designed for hole diameters from 76 to 127 mm, the rig provides drilling depths of up to 26.8 m using MF extension rods. Its advanced rod handling system, high-capacity compressor and efficient dust collection system make it an ideal solution for medium-sized quarries, mines and construction contractors.
