Epiroc Diamec 232
Diamec 232 by Epiroc is a lightweight core drill rig featuring full hydraulic control, engineered for precision in confined workspaces. Designed for cemented and exploration holes, it works effectively in tight tunnels, galleries, and limited-access sites. Lightweight and modular, the rig is quickly moved without interrupting ongoing work.
The patented rotation unit includes a hydraulic chuck for secure pipe clamping. A spring-driven locking system on the rod holder ensures both firm holding and safe operation. The rig supports HFC fire-resistant fluids and contains no aluminum, meeting coal mine standards. All functions are handled by one operator via a remote panel. Both electric and diesel drive options are offered.
Advantages
- Reliable performance in confined underground and surface spaces
- Full hydraulic control via a single remote console
- Easy to transport, quick to set up
- Approved for HFC fluids in coal mine applications
