Drilling Rig Epiroc Christensen CT20

The Epiroc Christensen CT20 is a high-capacity surface core drilling rig designed for deep exploration projects. Built for demanding conditions, the CT20 can achieve impressive drilling depths of up to 2,450 meters with N-size rods and up to 1,600 meters with H-size rods. Its modular design allows for mounting on a truck or crawler chassis, enabling flexible mobility across diverse terrains.

Powered by a robust Cummins QSL9 diesel engine (Tier 3 or Tier 4), the CT20 delivers 224 kW of output while maintaining low emissions and reduced noise levels, thanks to its insulated engine canopy. The rig's advanced control system features pilot hydraulics, ensuring intuitive and responsive operation across all core drilling functions.

Main Advantages

  • Optimized feed system and four-speed rotation gearbox for efficient core recovery in deep drilling operations
  • Hydraulic mast, mast dump and four adjustable outriggers for quick setup and site stability
  • Safety-focused design with emergency stop, guarding around moving parts, and integrated spill protection
  • Compatible with optional rod handling systems to minimize manual workload and increase operator safety
  • Service support by Epiroc including diagnostics, preventive maintenance and overhaul
