Epiroc and Atlas Copco Secoroc Tricone Bits

Epiroc's rotary drilling tool range includes Epsilon and Omega tricone bits. Epsilon bits are designed to provide high drilling performance, balanced load distribution and sustained penetration rates, while Omega sealed-bearing bits are developed for demanding and variable drilling conditions where extended bearing life is particularly important.

Earlier Atlas Copco Secoroc roller cone bit ranges also included the MAG NT and HD NT series. The later Epsilon product family evolved from these established designs, with eM technology developed from the MAG product line and eH technology from the HD product line.

Bits for Different Rock Conditions

Roller cone bits are available in different cutting structures and configurations to match specific rock formations and drilling requirements. Tungsten carbide insert (TCI) tricone bits cover applications ranging from softer formations to very hard and abrasive rock, allowing the bit to be selected according to rock characteristics, drill rig parameters and operating conditions.
