Secoroc COP 54 Gold down-the-hole hammer
The Secoroc COP 54 Gold is a high-performance down-the-hole (DTH) hammer designed for medium to large diameter drilling applications in mining, quarrying and civil engineering. The hammer operates at the bottom of the hole, delivering direct impact energy to the drill bit for efficient rock penetration.
Its robust construction and optimized internal components ensure consistent drilling performance, reduced wear and reliable operation in demanding environments.
Technical characteristics
- Working pressure: 6–30 bar
- Recommended bit diameter: 134–152 mm
- Rotation speed: 20–70 rpm
- Feed force: 6–19 kN
- Bit shank: QL 50
Lubrication requirements
Recommended oil consumption is 0.4–0.6 l/h. When water injection is used, lubrication dosage must be increased by 0.1–0.2 l/h.
Oil selection should consider operating temperature and provide strong lubrication film, corrosion protection and adhesion.
- -20 to +15°C: ISO VG 46–100
- +15 to +35°C: ISO VG 100–150
- Above +35°C: ISO VG 150–220
Operation and maintenance
Proper drilling performance requires balanced feed force and rotation speed. Excessive feed can cause jamming, while insufficient feed leads to vibration and reduced penetration.
Routine maintenance includes inspection of wear components, lubrication system and internal sealing elements to ensure long service life and stable operation.
