The feed is a critical subsystem of the Epiroc Boomer S1 drilling rig, guiding the drill steel, transmitting the thrust force and carrying the rock drill along the feed beam. In underground tunnelling conditions, the feed beam, cylinders, hose kits and holders are exposed to constant load, vibration and wear, so timely replacement of original components is essential to keep drilling performance and hole accuracy under control.
